Friday, May 14th – Guest: Aaron Cadieux

Aaron Cadieux – True Crime of Southeastern Massachusetts

Filmmaker Aaron Cadieux explores one of the most infamous unsolved serial murder cases in American history, the New Bedford Highway Murders. He will discuss the victims, their families, the investigation, and nearly three decades of unanswered questions. He and Tim will also discuss true crime cases from the area from Lizzie Borden and the Fall River cult murders to Michelle Carter and Aaron Hernandez.

GUEST BIO:

Aaron Cadieux is the owner and operator of Bristol County Media LLC, a documentary film and video production company located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.  With over a decade of experience, he was the co-director, co-producer, writer, director of photography and editor of The Bridgewater Triangle (2013), an award-winning documentary feature chronicling the history of a 200-square-mile region in Southeastern Massachusetts known for an array of unexplained occurrences.  The film had a four-year run on Discovery Communications’ Destination America network, and is currently available streaming on Amazon Prime, where it is free for Prime members. Since September of 2015, the film has aired regularly on Discovery’s Destination America network.  In 2015, Cadieux partnered with David Grochmal and began researching for a new multi-episode documentary series. Currently built as a seven-part series, and in its finishing stage of production, it will chronicle the infamous unsolved New Bedford Highway Murders case of 1988.

We welcome Stephen Spignesi back to the show to continue the discussion and entertain us with intriguing facts and stories about some of your favorite celebrities. He will also talk about how he survived both COVID and Long COVID.

GUEST BIO:

Stephen Spignesi is a writer and author of more than 60 books, and a retired Practitioner-in-Residence from the University of New Haven where he taught composition and literature for 10 years, including courses based on his books. He writes extensively about popular culture and is considered an authority on Stephen King, the Beatles, Elton John, Robin Williams, Woody Allen, The Sopranos, The Andy Griffith Show, ER, and other pop culture subjects and TV shows. His other areas of interest and expertise include American history, the U.S. presidents and Founding Founders, the Titanic, true crime, and the paranormal. Spignesi was christened “the world’s leading authority on Stephen King” by Entertainment Weekly magazine and taught the courses “The New Gothic Horror of Stephen King” and “The Legacy of the Titanic” at the University of New Haven. He appears in the A&E Biography of Stephen King and the ITV documentary Autopsy: Robin Williams. His first novel, Dialogues (Random House), was hailed as a “reinvention of the psychological thriller.” He lives in New Haven, Connecticut, with his quite extraordinary cat Chloe.

Victor Camacho is a researcher and host of the radio program Los Desvelados, which airs nationally in United States and Mexico. He has collaborated with Televisa, Azteca and Imagen in Mexico where he shows a weekly investigation in the United States, Mexico and other countries. He has participated in special programs about UFOs on networks and shows such as the Discovery Channel, History Channel’s UFO Hunters, Fact or Faked on SyFy Channel and Travel Channel.

He born in Mexico, and has been working in the media for 33 years in the United States. He studied Communication at Weber State University in Utah.  He is the director of the “Desvelado Network” based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where it produces the program Los Desvelados that has been broadcast for 25 years and where every night, he has spoken about UFO issues, the paranormal, forbidden archeology, conspiracies and other realities. This unique program for the Hispanic community in the United States has managed to captivate the attention of the public in 25 cities in the U.S. and Mexico.

Peter Guttilla and Terry Albright – Contact with Beings of Light

Peter Guttilla and Terry Albright will discuss the true story of Dorothy Wilkinson-Izatt, a contactee who has accumulated over 30,000 feet of film footage backing her claim. Peter Guttilla is a writer and researcher whose childhood encounters with the paranormal would become the driving force behind his future work. As a young adult in the 1960s, he began his research into the unexplained and, by the end of the decade, he had accumulated hundreds of sighting reports and had personally investigated numerous claims for contact with paranormal phenomena.

Terry Albright is a singer/songwriter, producer/director, paranormal researcher, pilot, and stunt/race car driver. Terry has been researching cryptids, UFOs, and the paranormal for over 40 years, working with Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Stanton Friedman, and many others. He is the co-founder, along with Peter, of the Violet Fire Research Group.

Terry starting his career as a courier for the Navy, which required secret clearance. He worked with computer sciences corporations, then became a photographic analyst, where he had to calibrate torpedo tests from Morris Dam and other secret testing photos, including airbrushing out anything that anyone with no need to know was not to see.

After the army he started working Special F/X on many popular movies including Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Dances with Wolves, and he co-produced the movie Roar, billed as “the most dangerous movie ever made!”

Colin Dickey is a writer, speaker, and academic, and has made a career out of collecting unusual objects and hidden histories all over the country. He’s the author of multiple books, including Ghostland: An American History in Haunted Places, and is a regular contributor to the LA Review of Books and Lapham’s Quarterly, and is the co-editor of The Morbid Anatomy Anthology. With a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Southern California, he is a professor at National University.

Dwight Hull has been investigating the paranormal for more than 30 years. Born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio, Dwight has experienced his share of paranormal experiences during his childhood, which led him to his first investigation in 1984. Over the years, he has been involved in thousands of investigations and has actively investigated Tombstone, Arizona for 14 years. Dwight has been communicating with animals, both living and those who have crossed the rainbow bridge, since he was a child – a gift passed onto him by his grandmother who not only helped him understand what was happening but also helped Dwight develop this unique ability.
